strong friendships can last a lifetime and change the world.

We met as teenagers and have been friends ever since. Throughout our 30's and 40's our journeys took us on separate paths but a few years ago we reconnected and we've never looked back.In September 2018, we collaborated to create She's on Top which was the culmination of a shared dream.

i have been a passionate storyteller for over 30 years. as a former executive producer and Gemini-nominated director, i have created, developed, written and produced award-winning factual entertainment, docu-soap, documentary, comedy, children’s live action and animated programs.
five years ago it became apparent that the next frontier for great storytelling was in the digital world.
tracy and I launched our first channel eztvonline. after experimenting with different platforms and honing our social media skills in September 2018, we launched She’s On Top, which allowed us to combine our love of storytelling with our passion for helping women advance in their careers. connecting women and creating this community, where we celebrate collaborate and promotes each other, has been a privilege, and one of the greatest joys of my life.
i have always thrived in community. whether it was at an all girl’s camp in Algonquin Park growing up, or my first experience in television working at YTV. both provided amazing women mentors that helped me to thrive, grow and gain confidence. they are also my fondest memories full of laughter and joy, where I formed female friendships that still sustain me today.
this is what i want for She’s on Top. a place where women can make deep connections, collaborate, feel supported, and have fun. as one of our members said recently, “a warm circle of friends.”

as an entrepreneur and mother of three, two of whom are young women embarking on their careers, i am passionate about empowering women to believe they can achieve anything they can imagine and promoting their self worth.
i started my career as a litigation lawyer, and after several years of practicing went on to run a wholesale gift company distributing books, gifts and stationery from Europe and the US, across Canada.
after taking some time at home to raise my young family, i started a photography business and from there went on to pursue documentary filmmaking. storytelling, whether in the courtroom or through visual or written media, has always been important to me. when we learn about another woman’s journey we are often empowered to take the next step ourselves. we may see something in them that makes us believe we can do it too.
connecting with other women in a collaborative environment is something i also believe strongly in. it takes a village to raise a child and an actively supportive community to help us succeed as women entrepreneurs.
my hope is that through this platform we can do that. we can collaborate, mentor, inspire each other, and bring joy and meaning into each other’s lives.
